The Colombia-Ireland Business Association (CIBA) is a platform for collaboration, innovation
and cultural exchange, bridging two nations with as shared vision for progress
How It All Started
CIBA was established from the shared vision of Gary O’Keeffe from Ireland and Augusto Amaya from Colombia, two entrepreneurs with deep cross-border ties and a passion for building meaningful international connections.
With successful businesses operating between both countries, Gary and Augusto recognised the need for a space where culture, education and enterprise could come together. Their vision? A partnership that celebrates difference while building shared opportunity
Why This Connection Matters
Ireland and Colombia may be an ocean apart, but both nations share a spirit of creativity, community and resilience.
From music to innovation, from agriculture to tech, there’s so much we can learn, share and achieve together. CIBA exists to turn this potential into action, through collaboration, culture and community.
